35th WW Weigh- In & Happy Groundhogs Day!

Happy Groundhogs day!
http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/the-buzz/post/groundhog-day-2012-dc-needs-local-punxsutawney-phil/2012/02/01/gIQA2sVnhQ_blog.html

I almost lost track on how many weeks it was. Since my WW online doesn't show my full time I had to re-count since I haven't been posting the number of weeks recently.
Current weight: 274.6
Loss this week -1
Total Loss: -45.4
Starting weight: 320
I've been staying the same/ fluctuating between the same few pounds. I'm happy I haven't been gaining though! Today I weighed in at 274.6 - almost back to my lowest so far- the lowest was 274.2.
Still haven't hit the 50 mark, hopefully that will be soon!

On another totally different note... I'm having weird pains...almost like my monthly pains/ cramps do you also get cramps days before you get your period? I don't remember this happening before, but I suppose it's what's happening. Just wondering.

Good afternoon!

Happenings..

The Flip I rented for a few weeks! Seems pretty simple and easy to use- so far so good!

Today-
I just got back from  digital checkout (and class), where I rented a Flip Video ultra HD I think it's called. I took some small videos just to try it out on my way home. I had to walk home three times today.
The first time I went back was when I realizes "Hey I'm out of class early & digital check-out is open...what can I get?!.."
the second time I  discovered there was no charger for the camera ( i was still not home but one my way)... I went back & asked- turns out these cameras just hook up  to the computer and charge from there. I like it! No extra wires to worry about.
The third time I felt like I left something * DING DING DING!! * I did! My illustration board for my next project was still up at the 5th floor, cursing A LOT when I saw it wasn't in the first place I thought I had left it. I found it in the second place! Anyways.. I went back for the last time today.
I'm not an elevator fan...but that third time walking up to the 5th floor wasn't going to happen.

Yesterday!-
Elijah Wood came to our College to do a Q&A, I was lucky enough to get a confirmed ticket! It was really great, he seemed like a really down to earth, interesting guy. It was a nice experience, he talked about some of his ambitions, other than acting. This all reminding me I've got a lot to do also.  It's great to have a goal.

Good  Afternoon!

It's been a while!

I'm always thinking, and feeling bad about not updating more often! This blog has been seeing less of my than it should be :[. I love posting & reading up on what everyone else is up to. I don't know how you guys do it, come home from work tired, gotta get up early in the morning... Kudos :]
I'm not even working, I just have classes and homework- this is the busiest semester I've ever gone through. It makes sense since I'll be graduating in a few months.

This is frustrating because this blog allowed me to keep track of myself. It feels as if everything is on hold.. EVEN me weight has been staying the same.

I feel bad taking time to blog when I also have so much work to be done. The blogging doesn't tae much time, the idea of doing something else has been keeping me away.

SALMON DINNER!
I've had this  dinner waiting to be posted for a while now
I found individually wrapped salmon filets in the frozen section! It's easy to prepare with some lemon juice and some seasoning. I used some steak seasoning we have...

to go with the salmon I made mashes potatoes with garlic, spinach and of course more lemon juice!
I'll be making this again sometime, for sure.

Blogging right now is almost a huge stress relief, maybe I need to keep posting as often as I was before. I can get what I need to done! There are people working, taking care of kids, working out and able to blog.

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Happy New Year!

Happy 2012 Everyone!

I've been back home for a while now & was able to celebrate holidays/ New Years with family and friends! I got back today to meet one of my new roommates, the other roommate I haven't met yet is supposed to be coming in tomorrow.
I weighed in after a week of being away to -0.3 (not bad seeing as how while I was home I had no real time to workout).

I've been unpacking and getting re-organized before classes start on Monday!
I wish packing were this easy!

Goodnight!

Unexpected job!

A friend of mine connected me with a job, that turned out to be a two day job after I was asked to come back. I'm not really going to say what it was for exactly but it was a wonderful experience, even though I was a newb & had no real experience prior.
Travel channel was filming nearby &  I was able to help on set. I was able to spend time with great people the director and assistant director. The hours were crazy & I had no time for anything accept coming home finishing the job & getting sleep- hoping it was enough for the next day. Another problem I faced while on this job was the food they provided was not so great... for breakfast one morning they only had coffee *I don't drink coffee* and bags and bags of McDonalds breakfast sandwiches McMuffins I think?  (although the 1st day they did have a bowl of fruit, I had a banana).

the show comes out in april & maybe I'll talk about it more then :] I have some pretty nice pictures from set.

ALRIGHTY!!!! so before my streak of busy-ness mr roommate her sister and I went to a park in St.Pete!
It was beautiful there.

Starting Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred

Today as day one of the workout and I can feel it... I haven't been working out as regularly as I was before- this was a wakeup call. The 1st level  will hopefully start getting easier but for now it's hard, but when I finish the 20+ minute workout I feel great about myself.

I know I'll be feeling this in the morning too!
Just wanted to post a quick update :]

BLENDER TIME!

Hamilton Beach Single-Serve Blender

Recently one of my roommates moved out & took along her blender... I was probably the only one that used it hahha (so I decided to get myself a new kitchen toy!)
There was a budget, it was small, I was able to find one that fit the budget!  It was perfect for what I was looking for. The blender small self serve, good for your own personal shake/drink of choice. I was also surprised how fast it broke down everything I put in my shakes, frozen banana, frozen strawberry, shake powder, ice, jelly & peanut butter. The blender comes with one button "pulse".. no fancy options that seemed to do the same thing in the end anyway. :p There is a feature to wrap the cord around the bottom so it's not laying around outside on the counter, easy to put away. So far I'm happy with it, the only thing I need to adjust to is the amount of content I put inside the blender :] fills up faster than you think! * this is after being used to a family-sized/ regular blender... this is for one drink- good for me.
The lid
Ready to drink, from the blender
The bottom allows you to wrap the cord into the bottom :]
Picasa has changed & I'm not sure I want to deal with it anymore if I don't have to... how do you all upload your photos from? I've noticed that even when you are uploading from your computer & haven't seleced picasa..you are using Picasa. I need to see if flickr has a way to easily post pictures onto blogger. I'd much rather go through flickr!

Goodnight!
